Ms Simplicity

Today’s post is specially dedicated to this friend of mine whom I have lost touch with months ago. For those loyal readers who have been reading my blog from the very 1st post will know how close I am with this friend of mine. “Who is this friend?”, some of you might ask. She’s none other than Wendy. Apple, Wendy and I were very close friends who used to chiong Devilsbar together. Every weekend, the three of us will meet up and we will go clubbing, movies, rollerblading at East Coast Park, shopping, steamboat etc. We even labelled ourselves the three siao char bohs. We went through thick and thin together. We shared tears and joys. But somehow or rather, we just lost contact suddenly. Both Apple and myself do miss the wonderful time we had with her and do think of her every now and then. We truly and sincerely hope that she is getting on fine and leading a happy life now.

Wendy, if you are still reading my blog, I would like you to know that both Apple and myself do treasure the friendship we have. Even though we have stopped keeping in touch, you are still the cheerful-outgoing-crazy-articulate-intelligent Wendy we knew. Happy birthday to you and all the best in whatever you do.

Before I end, I would like to wish Kevin aka Weiyi Happy Birthday too as it’s also his birthday today. May you be as GAY as ever~~ LoLz…

Me and my dear dear just came back home from the Singapore Food Expo with an about-to-burst stomach due to too much food. Ya, greedy me. I simply couldn’t resist the many choices there. Tried a few food samples and bought some nice food to satisfy our food cravings. Bird nests were selling on a promotional price but too bad, they don’t have samples for us to try unlike other food =X. It was damn crowded lor. Announcements of lost children were heard every now and then. Well, some parents were really irresponsible. They just indulged in the good food and dump their children aside. You can practically see lots of super kiasu people pushing and jostling in the crowd just to be the first to buy the food. I feel like telling them :”Eh come on la, li gia jiak boh meh?” So gan jiong for what sial. Simply can’t understand those people. *shake head* Took some photos using my handphone just now. Below are just some of the food we ate. Oiishi nehz!

Dear dear bought me my fav Nougats!

My company’s private function aka Thank You Party on Friday was great! The list of programmes lined up for that night were indeed interesting. We had 10 contestants for the singing competition and we had 5 teams consisting of 5 members each for the drinking competition. Well, I was asked to replace my Admin Manager for the drinking competition. Initially I thought its competing for the best drinker but after checking with my colleague, it was a drinking rally. With 5 members in each team, you can choose what drink you want. It’s either Beer, Coke or Plain water. The drinks were arranged in the order like this : Beer, Coke, Beer, Coke and then Plain water. I was placed in the third one so from the arrangement of the drinks, you all would be able to know what I gonna drink. Yes, I will be drinking beer. FYI, don’t be happy for those who drink plain water hor. It’s not a glass or a mug like the beer and Coke. It’s a pitcher of water. So much can~ You all must be thinking its very easy right? You all wrong liao. After drinking, for those who’s drinking beer or Coke got to eat one banana while those who’s drinking plain water must eat two bananas. And the bananas are not those small small for goreng pisang one lor. The emcees got to check that you have finished your banana before your next team member can start drinking. Zitao cannot play cheat one lor. After drinking my beer and eating the banana, I felt so full sial. Later, I was told by my big boss that we were not supposed to win. -_-”’ Didn’t tell me earlier. Made me so pia for the competition. Though we didn’t win, but it was fun lor. Below are some of the photos taken on Friday night. Enjoy~

I nearly choked on my banana when the guy beside me suddenly raised his hand and shouted “Lim wan liao! Lim wan liao!”

Don’t be mistaken by the colour of the drink hor. My colleague was drinking Coke, not Guinness.

This fat guy was asked to come out by the Emcee to show us how fast he finished the banana. But in the end, he was asked to compete banana eating by the audience. Haha.. Geh kiang lah.

He negotiated with the fat guy to give chance and the fat guy zitao said :”Ok la, pang li pua diao.” They tot bet soccer ah, pang pua liap. -_-”’

Pang pua diao he still lost lor. Can you all imagine how fast that fat guy finish that banana? Unbelievable~

Last week, Noelle darling forgot to bring her wallet when she was on her way to the hair salon. Today, its my turn. Thank you. I was searching my bag for my wallet while I was looking at the list of breakfast meals available at MacDonalds. I remembered to bring my Creative Zen Micro mp3 player, my cardholder, my handphone, my lip balm, my foundation, my dear dear’s digicam and my organiser. Everything except my wallet! Want to how suay. No money no MacDonalds breakfast. After searching my bag and confirming that my wallet is not in there, I sadly walked out of the MacDonalds. Luckily I have not place my order yet sial. If not sure beri pai sey one. What a Friday~~~

PS : An hour later after I updated my blog, I realised I can use my Ezlink card to pay for my MacDonalds breakfast -_-”’ Want to how blur~

Sial la, the month of May is supposed to be a dry and sunny month but it turns out to be a rainy month lor. The climate seems to have gone havoc.

If you read my blog often, you would have remembered me saying I hate it when its raining on weekdays . Weekdays are already bad enough because most of us got to wake up early for work and school. If it were to rain early in the morning, you can practically see a lot of people with their face black black. Rainy days pose a lot of inconveniences for people, don’t you all think so? It’s only good if you can snuggle in bed without having to wake up for work or school. But sad to say, we are unable to decide when it should rain, when it should not rain. Zhen de shi sang nao jing orh~

Being a sleep lover (Ya lah, I love to sleep and I could sleep for hours can~), rainy days make me feel sleepy easily. I even have a personal motto for myself – I can don’t eat BUT I cannot don’t sleep. Sleep is very important especially for ladies because sleep is beauty. If not, why Sleeping Beauty is called Sleeping Beauty and why its called Beauty Sleep and not Ugly Sleep. Dio boh? Got theory one ok~ Dun puay puay~

This week is a short week due to the long weekend last week. It’s Friday again tomorrow. Got a company event tomorrow at Home Karaoke located at East Coast Park from 7pm to 10pm. Wang Hui and Kelvin Soh from Mediacorp were invited to perform for my company’s private function. There will be a singing contest and drinking contest. Looks like fun hor but I have not decide whether to go or not. Do check out my blog for photos if I decided to go for my company’s private function. Cheers!

Just finished a pack of the latest Star Wars Dark Chocolate Peanut M&Ms. Satisfying. I can feel the depressions leaving my body. Chocolates are very good in making women feel better. I feel great! That’s why I got mood to update my blog now. Well, I am sure most of you have read Apple’s blog so I will not say much about how we so enjoyed ourselves during the weekends. I apologised for not updating my blog. I absolutely have no mood for anything right now. I just wanna be left alone. Enuff said.

Tomorrow is Friday liao!!! It’s gonna be party-time tomorrow night at Devilsbar for the celebration of Marilyn and Clyde’s birthday. And as usual, we had chosen a theme wear for tomorrow night. The ladies will be in pink top and the guys will be in white top. So sweet right? Kekeke… And there’s gonna be lots of photo-taking too. We simply couldn’t wait for tomorrow to come man~ Damn excited lor.

Anyway, below are the photos taken yesterday when my Daddy brought the whole family out for my Mummy’s birthday at a chinese restaurant. Food was not bad but the service sucks lor. Most importantly, my Mummy must be happy. She indeed had a great time that night. And she love the flowers my sister and myself bought for her. I love my Mummy!

It’s finally Wednesday! Well, I am happy not because its ladies night hor. Happy because the long weekend is just 2 days away. For those people who don’t take note of the holidays on the calendar, please be informed that Monday is a replacement holiday as Vesak Day falls on this Sunday. Our dearest Apple darling only realised it until we told her on Monday. Heng she know le if not I think she will go to work as per normal. Keke…

Though it’s ladies night at Devilsbar tonight but I won’t be gng lor. It’s my dearest Mummy’s birthday today. I think my Daddy will be bringing the whole family out for dinner tonight. So me gonna be a guai daughter today and keep my family accompany. Happy Birthday Mummy!!!
