A Simple Valentine

Life has been pretty hectic for me due to some slight changes at work. Because of the late nights due to CNY last week, plus non-stop eating of the CNY goodies and continuous stress from work caused me to fall sick for several days. Down with a high fever and stayed in bed for 2 whole days. But I am really glad the bad body aches are all gone after lots of rest.

Anyway, I met up with Mummy Noelle last Friday for KTV session. It’s been such a long time since we came out for some girls’ night out. Though it’s only two of us, but we enjoyed ourselves because we had a lot of catching up to do. I think we talked more than we sang that night. Haha… She even brought some fried bee hoon for our dinner.

This year’s Valentine’s Day falls on a Thursday and I have classes to attend at night. But I am not disappointed at all because this special day has become so commercialized. Having been together with my notti one for 3 years plus, Valentine’s Day is just another normal day to us. I asked him not to buy flowers for me because it’s a waste of money. I even forbid him to buy me a gift but I happily went to buy him a perfume :p Nevertheless, this year’s Valentine’s Day was spent over a nice dinner last Saturday with lots of appreciation and love for each other.

We had our dinner at Augus’s House located at Takashimaya. The food and ambience were great. Service were good too. The mushroom soup we had tasted yummy :) The notti one had 2 servings of salads because his dearest baby, Me , is a meat-eater :p The wonderful dinner ended with a nice Tiramisu cake.

My notti one ordered Abalone Spaghetti for himself and ordered Sirloin Steak for me because he know I love beef. How sweet!

My medium rare charcoal grilled sirloin steak :) It’s nice de lor. Oh ya, the restaurant’s kitchen is open concept de wor.

Lovely photos of me taken by my notti one. Thanks for the lovely dinner, my dear. Muacks!

Chinese New Year 2008

Gong Xi Fa Cai everybody! I am sure all of you collected lots of ang bao since the 1st day of Chinese New Year, right?

I have been pretty occupied this Chinese New Year because I need to prepare alot of things for my office CNY celebrations. We have our own celebrations for Sales & Marketing division on 1 Feb in the office. Everybody must wear a red top or anything chinese to be permitted entry for the party. After the party, my notti one came to meet me for dinner. Since he love to eat spicy food and ramen, I decided to bring him to Beppu Menkan Japanese Noodle Restaurant at Suntec City. He tried the most spicy ramen and he totally love it. I don’t think he wanna eat the Volcano Ramen at Ajisen again.

Although the colour of the soup looks the same, but the degree of spiciness is totally different. Mine is only 3 chillies of spicy.

I was in red top for the office CNY celebrations. My notti one was wearing the new shirt I bought for him :) Nice!

On the eve of CNY, we had steamboat for our reunion dinner. Although it’s the same every year, but I still enjoy the feeling of having dinner together with my family.

For the first few days of CNY, I will go visiting with my notti one to his relatives’ houses. It’s tiring but fun. As visiting only occurs in the day, my notti one decided that we go for a movie marathon on the 2nd day of CNY. So off my notti one went to book tickets online for KungFu Dunk and CJ7. The 2 movies sent me laughing and also tearing. Thumbs-up! :)

This is the notti one’s nephew who loves to stick to him. He’s super active and got both of us so exhausted running around the house to play with him.

Took photos of my notti one while we were waiting for his dad to go his relative’s house for dinner.

I started to zilian too :p

Notti one was driving us to his colleague’s house on Saturday.

His colleague, Thomas, was helping himself to the steamboat whereas the rest of us were busy playing cards.

I had a great time this CNY. What about all of you? :)

Lastly, Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Muacks!
