It’s a very backdated post but I have to try my best to find time to blog about this special day of mine which only happens once a year.
This year is pretty different from the past few years. No partying. No getting drunk. I spent my birthday with my beloved dear dear. Just the two of us. The way I want it for this year. Simple and peaceful. Because I know my dear dear love and has been craving for the food at Shangrila The Line ever since I brought him there for his birthday 2 years ago, that’s why I asked him to make reservation for dinner on my birthday. When he is happy, I will be happy. That night, both of us ate so much until we nearly couldn’t move. Marvellous food we had – Big oysters, baked salmon, fresh sashimi, cold lobster and lots more! After the hearty and satisfying dinner, we went Cineleisure to watch The Ironman. A great movie to end the wonderful night

3 (out of the 4) bosses were out of town for meeting but they didn’t forget my birthday. One of my male bosses got someone to send me a big bouquet of lovely lilies. So pretty!
Another lady boss gave me a Bath & Body Works cherry blossom body butter. I still remember the surprise I got from the office on that day. I came back to the office after a visit to the toilet and found that everybody was missing. Then my female boss called me and asked me to see her in her room. So off I went and you know what? As I walked into our cafe cum pantry, my colleagues all started singing the birthday song! I was very touched. They bought me a Mango cake and there’s a Mango paper bag beside the cake. They said the Mango cake comes with a free bag from Mango. How nice of them!
Every year without fail, my dear dear will arrange flowers and cake to be sent to my office. Really very sweet of him
My dear dear bought me a limited edition Sony Ericsson W910i and a CK One Summer perfume. I love it! Thanks lots my dear! I am sorry you got to spend so much money on baby’s birthday.
On the next day, we went back to my house for 2nd round of celebration with my family. My mum cooked my favourite food and bought me a black forest cake. A heartwarming celebration and I am thankful to be borne into this family. I love my family very much.
My beloved sister even bought me a birthday present. A lovely and classy watch from Daniel Hechter. Ah mei, I promised you I will wear it for work on every weekday de. Thanks for the gift

As I am entitled to birthday leave, I decided to take it on 5 May which was a Monday. My dear dear took leave too to keep me accompany. Knowing he needed a massage badly, I went to book a couple massage for us. He brought me for some Katong laksa before going for our massage. The jacuzzi and massages were totally great and relaxes our tired bodies. Shiok!
