The Pasta Shop

Met up with Linda and Jessica last Wednesday together with my sister for dinner. Initially, we planned to go Botak Jones at the Orchard Youth Park. That day was also the opening of Ion Orchard so we thought might as well checked out the new place instead. Being a newly opened mall, it’s normal to be crowded moreover it’s after office hours. So we ended up at Wheelock Place’s The Pasta Shop.

The food generally quite ok if you are not fussy. But the service abit -_-”’. Linda ordered iced oolong tea but they brought her a hot oolong tea. When Linda told the service staff she ordered iced oolong tea, the service staff asked her whether is it ok to put ice. My sister and I ordered iced lemon tea but they only served one. It took ages for them to bring 1 more glass when I told them about the missing iced lemon tea. When they finally served my iced lemon tea, the glasses they used were different from my sister’s. The 4 of us were like so puzzled. Can’t be not enough glasses right? A while later, the service staff knocked over the customer’s drink when clearing the table. Ok now the final part of the story. The service staff was serving ice-cream to the customer a few tables away from us. The service staff fell and the ice-cream dropped on the floor! Want to how drama you tell me. When we were done and asked for bill, again it took ages. So we decided to walk over to the counter to make payment. Not wanting to slip and fall like what happened to the service staff, we avoided walking that area. We don’t wanna add on to the drama lor.

I won’t say I will not go back there again after what happened. The 4 of us arranged to go back there the 2nd time. Because we can get $90 (the amount we spent that night) off on our next bill! :p

Food we ordered that night

Photos before we started tucking in.

Went TCC for some coffee after that to continue our chatting and laughing. Thanks for the night, ladies! :)

New Blogskin

Sorry for locking up the blog for a couple of days. I wanted to make some changes to my blog but have no time so I thought lock it first until I have the time to do. I have a couple of people including my BFF asking me why I lock my blog. I was playing with the idea of closing the blog too because I seldom blog these days. But if I have any interesting post I will try my best to update. Since I am on MC today due to stomach flu, I decided to use the time to make the necessary changes to my blog. I have changed my blogskin for a new look. Certain posts will be password-protected in future.

In 2 weeks’ time, it will be one of my BFF’s wedding so I am trying my best to shed some weight. I realised it’s harder to lose weight when you gets older. Being a food-lover, it’s even more difficult to lose weight lor. But all in all, being healthy is more important. You only live life once so enjoy while you can mah. Ok lah. It’s time to take my medicine and rest le. Will blog soon. Ciao!

Transformers SG Fans Screening

Went for the Transformers SG Fans Screening for the new movie Revenge Of The Fallen last Friday with my dear dear and his 2 colleagues. Both my dear dear and I have been looking forward to the movie since the first Transformers movie. As this was organised by the Transformers Fan Club, the fans were encouraged to wear something related to Transformers. So my dear dear brought the Optimus Prime helmet plus some printed stickers. All of us had fun that night. The movie was really awesome. My dear dear and I watched it the 2nd time at Filmgarde Bugis just now. Both of us enjoyed the movie as much as the first time we watched. I totally love how Sam called Bumble Bee “Bee…” in the movie. So cute can!

Transformers rawks!!!!

Optimus Prime, I likey :)
