Back To Civilian Life…

Finally, my dear dear is resuming his civilian life today after 3 whole weeks of reservist. As he can’t booked out even on weekends, we mainly kept in touch through sms-ing each other at night. There were some messages he sent me which I thought was really sweet :) Can’t wait to see him tonight and what makes it even better is the long weekends! May all of you have a great time during the long weekends too.

With the National Day just a few days away, let me share with you on the funny truths about life in our little red dot :)

1. Night – Sleep with air-con; Day – Bathe with heater on

2. Day – Cannot Wake up; Night – Cannot Sleep

3. Cigarettes – Convenient to buy; not convenient to smoke

4. Chewing Gum – Can Chew, Cannot buy?? (Restricted to buying)

5. Smell Of rubbish besides letterboxes; Rubbish inside Letterbox

6. Private Cars – Cheaper & Cheaper to Buy, harder & harder to Maintain

7. Education – Teachers teaching Less but expects students to learn More

8. High-tech barbaric Singaporeans – know how to use state-of-the art equipment, but don’t know how to use a simple dustbin or a toilet.

9. There are quite a number of rich/poor in Singapore – They have Car, Credit Card, CPF…. but no Cash and lots of loans.

10. Translation is needed between Singaporean Chinese and Mainland Chinese

11. Singaporean never like to vote, but like to complain

12. Half Singaporeans rushed to buy Hello kitty, but the other half busy killing stray cats.

13. Public Bus – Half the Crowd squeeze in front section of the Bus, Second section is for Carrying Ghost

14. MRT Trains – Some young slobs sleep on the seats while the older folks are left standing on their feet.

Edited to add: I have booked 2 tickets to watch Sing Dollar! The Musical Comedy About Money for tomorrow! I am sure my dear dear will love to have a good laugh :)

BFF Wendy’s Big Day

Yesterday was my BFF Wendy’s big day! I am really so happy for her and I wish her a blissful marriage and everlasting happiness. Below are some photos I took yesterday. Gatecrashing was really fun :p

Bright and early, BFF Elaine came to fetch me to the bride’s house around 4.30am. We got to prepare the special weapons to terkan the groom you noe~ :p

Most of the jiemeis didn’t sleep much the night before but all still looked very fresh in the morning.

A photo with the bride first before we started to terkan the groom who arrived shortly. Keke…

The brothers were the stressed ones because most of the terkan items were prepared for them instead of the groom :p

Until the last terkan item don’t know what happen, the groom and the brothers all climbed into the house from the window lor -____-””

See our pretty bride in her 2nd lovely red gown

Pretty jiemeis in black dresses for the dinner :)

BFF Wendy’s special day a Big Success!!! *Thumbsup*
