Dinner With My Fav Girlies

Last Friday met up with my favourite girlies for dinner. Our beloved Autumnleaf came back to S’pore for holidays. It’s also a great time to meet because it’s long weekend. We had dinner at Wheelock Place Sakae Sushi before we adjourned to Big O Cafe for desserts and more girlie talks. Totally enjoyed that night with them. Come to think of it, I have known most of them for coming to 7 or 8 years. As we grow older, we are also kept busy with work and families. I really appreciate that most of them can try to find time to meet up once in a while. And that’s how our bonds gets stronger as the years go by. Of course I would love to continue this friendship of ours till all of us turn old :)

Bye for now! Gonna sleep liao. Super tired after the gym session. It’s Friday tomorrow already. It’s even better when I can knock off at 2.30pm tomorrow because of the F1!! Yippy!!!

Our Special Day

It’s coming to 5 months after the proposal and we have finally decided on the date of our solemnization. It will be on 30 November 2009 which is also my BFF’s birthday! My BFFs have been asking me how’s the preparations for this special day and the reply always goes :”Haven’t yet leh :p Still got time whatttt… ” Seriously, they are more ganjiong than me :) Below was a random conversation with my BFF Elaine some time ago :

Elaine : Bff, after your solemnization must go take some niceee photos hor.

Me : Ok! Then you stand behind me when I throw the hand bouquet ok?

Elaine : Huh? Why leh?

Me : Because you are the only one not married yet mahhh.. You got to catch the hand bouquet on that day. Nobody to snatch from you, you noeeee… :p

Taiwan Apparels

More and more people are shopping online these days including myself. You can always shop at the comfort of your home in front of your laptop in your pyjamas and specs. I personally find that I shop online most of the time for apparels. Part of the reason is that it is usually cheaper. Recently, I have managed to get in touch with a taiwan supplier. I thought it will be a good idea to bring in some apparels to sell too since I am already buying from them for myself. The idea is not really about earning money out of it. Since I usually buy quite a fair bit, then getting a few pieces more would have gotten me a better price. Might give it a try by getting a few tops or dresses to test the response first :) Will update again on this soon!

Everything With Fries

Had a farewell dinner for one of my bosses 2 weeks ago at this newly opened restaurant called Everything With Fries. It’s a very new restaurant with very simple decor at Joo Chiat Road. I tried to google it when my boss told me about this place but no results found. Interesting name, isn’t it? From the name, you can tell straight away that most of the dishes come with fries. Well, that’s only half correct. They had an assortment of fries flavors like Sour Cream and Onion, Curry, Salt & Vinegar.. just to name a few. Niceee…

The chicken wings were pretty special as they separated the wing part into two before frying. They even named it Skinny Wings. The One Egg Soup tasted really nice too and it only cost $3.90. It is a chicken broth enriched with egg yolk. The egg white is whipped and deep fried so it floats like a cloud.  The pork chop was tender and juicy. The cheese burger was just normal. The thought of all these food really makes me hungry already.

Of course not forgetting the desserts they served for that night. I totally love the Nutella Tart! *Thumbsup*

Lelong Lelong Lelong! Too many impulse buys from all the online shopping and it’s causing my wardrobe to burst already. After doing a good tidying up, I decided to put up those clothes that are new and some still with price tags on up for sale instead of letting it go to waste. Busy Is The Word

The title of this post is the answer to why I haven’t been blogging. I even forgot the password when I was logging on to my account just now. Age is catching up on me I guess. Haha… That’s why my memory is getting poorer too. Work has been pretty hectic for the past few weeks. 24 hours a day is not enough. People around me are also getting very busy and stressed up over their work. Feeling unhappy, frustrated and unable to sleep at night are what I see in their Twitter or Facebook status lately. Sometimes we will ask ourselves why and what are we working so hard for. Is it worth it? Well, it’s mainly to earn for a living. It sounded very simple but it’s difficult to accept. Anyway, I shall not get too emotional and demoralized in this post since it’s been a long time I last blogged. Too many thoughts running through my mind right now. I need some time to collect my thoughts and I will blog again real soon. With happy things. I promise.
