Her ROM Page

Counting down to 1 more week and it will be the day when I will no longer be a Miss. With most of the things done, what I am supposed to do for the next 1 week is to take good care of my skin by not getting too stressed out (no breakouts pls!), drink lots of water, have lots of beauty sleep and no junk food (or overeating). Anything can happen in a week and I seriously doesn’t want to have the biggest nightmare of not being able to fit into the dress on the actual day. It’s totally scary~ Well, before I end the update, let me share the pictures of my dress and shoes. Something simple and nice for the important day :)

I was surfing the web on rental of ROM dresses and chanced upon a few good ones which I would like to share with those brides-to-be.

Dress Me Up specialises in the renting, selling and custom-making of dresses. They have dresses for ROM, Wedding day , Bridesmaids, Prom night, Evening dress, Cocktail dress, Mother-of-bride, Plus size dress & office wear etc. Most of the dresses were designed by Sandy, who is the owner of the shop. A very helpful and friendly lady.

Bridal Closet is a home-based bridal business. They provides rental of wedding gown, formal wear for mother of bride, rental accessories and wedding related items. They are also providing full service referral to florists, hair stylists, make-up artistes. This is a good choice for those bride-to-be who prefers fuss-free preparations for their solemnization. Well, it can get quite stressful when you have way too many choices.

PS: I have gotten my ROM dress from Bridal Closet. Lucky me it’s a new arrival so I will be the first to wear :)

As of 30th November 2009, counting down to 1 month 16 days, I will be officially called Mrs Koh le :) Well, I haven’t really done much preparations for this special day though it is in a month’s time because we will be holding the solemnization at the ROM premises. It will be a simple affair since we will be having our customary end of next year. Therefore we will only invite a few close friends to witness the solemnization. Have started shopping around for a dress. I have also confirmed the Make-up Artist and made appointment for a trial session with her 2 weeks before the solemnization. Eh, I know still got quite a number of items like getting the wedding bands and preparing the guest-list. Will try to get the important ones done real soon.
