My December With Lots of Love

December has always been a month full of gatherings which I totally adore. Totally enjoys meeting my favourite people, have our little chats over some nice food and drinks. Here are the wonderful activities which took place in December, leading to a wonderful closure of a fantastic 2009.

Went Malaysia with my parents to visit my relatives. At the same time, also hold a little wedding lunch for them. Have not seen them for ages and had a great time catching up with all of them. As you can see from the photos, I have cut my hair shorter one week after the wedding :p

Went for a short 4D3N Bangkok trip with my dear dear after our wedding. Received a complimentary stay at one of the new hotels so off I went to book tickets for both of us. Great timing because both of us needed to get away for a short break after the wedding. Had a great time shopping at Platinum Mall, going for massages and indulging in thai cuisine. Or we just simply stay in bed after breakfast to watch tv. Bliss~!

Attended my company’s dinner & dance. The theme was Alice in Wonderland. Though I didn’t dress up as any of the characters but it was fun seeing the costumes some of my colleagues wore that night. Won myself a 2 nights’ stay including breakfast for two at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu and $100 cash vouchers. Woohoo! I love holidays!

Met up with the Les Berries to celebrate Jace’s birthday and also Xmas Gift Exchange. As usual, we had a great night full of laughter. Totally enjoyed their company and hope the berry friendship will last forever! ๐Ÿ˜€

Celebrated Jace’s birthday with the family at Minjiang Goodwood Park with a big spread of dimsum. Brought my parents to Ion for some window-shopping and took some photos with the Christmas Tree. All of us enjoyed the festive atmosphere albeit with the huge crowd in Orchard. Love my family! I have also planned a family holiday for them ๐Ÿ™‚ Can’t wait!

Vicki organised a Dinner-cum-Xmas gift exchange with the LKH peeps. I think this is the 3rd consecutive year that we had this xmas gift exchange. As usual, there’s lots of fun and laughter. Am really happy to know this group of friends through my dear dear. A very fun bunch of people to hang around with ๐Ÿ˜€

Bought a wedding gift for myself, half paid by the angbao given to me by my parents for my wedding. Thanks Mum & Dad! I also bought a wedding gift for my dear dear – a PS 3 Slim. He was so happy when he saw the gift ๐Ÿ˜€ What a good wife I am you know~ :p

I think I am getting old because I don’t seem to like crowds, especially to countdown parties. So to welcome 2011, I organised a potluck cum steamboat dinner at my house. All of them brought a food item each – Yong Tau Foo from Pang, Pork Stew from Gerald, Butter Cake & Mashed Potato from Vicki and Max, Nuggets from Dennis and Alicia, Ice-cream from dear dear, Meatballs from Jessica, Fruit Salad from Jace and last but not least, Fried Bee Hoon and Curry Chicken cooked by my mum. It was a great way to say goodbye to a fantastic 2009 and welcoming an awesome 2011.

May all of you have a great 2011!

My Bachelorette Party

My bachelorette party was totally smashing awesome can! Thanks to my evil and brilliant girlfriends, I had an great bachelorette party which I will never forget. I do not know how they do it but they managed to come up with something in such a short time. Including checking with everybody’s busy schedules to fix THE date for the party. It must be alot of hard work coordinating and I totally appreciate all their efforts. Eh, but minus the part on the evil game ideas :p Nevertheless, below are just some of the photos we took that night. Certain photos are too obscene to be shown here. So just use your imaginations!

They tricked me into wearing something different by telling me the theme colour is bright colours. And all of them turned up in BLACK. Thanks lor~

They got me started by putting on the veil and tiara. No man is there to unveil for me so I was asked to unveil myself -__-”’

Here comes the main lead and surprise for the party – The Penis Cake!

I was asked to take the cake and parade around the club. Gosh! Just imagine the amount of attention we got. People were so amused with the cake lor. It was really nice when a few people came to hug and congratulate me.

Thank you so much for planning this bachelorette party and I totally enjoyed all of it! You girls were great! Muacks!

PS : Counting down 8 days to my Big Day! ๐Ÿ˜€

Surprise From The Les Berries

Finally, I managed to find time to upload the videos which I have promised since my Phuket trip with the Les Berries. I have watched it several times and still have a good laugh every time after watching it. Hope all of you will enjoy the videos too ๐Ÿ™‚

Here comes the real thing! I was so blur I didn’t even realised Jessica was filming.

Of wedding prep, dinners with gfs & tobi

It’s less than 2 months to my big day and I am pretty busy with the wedding preparation. Little little things can add up to a long list of to-dos. Wedding is once in a lifetime so it’s perfectly fine to feel a little stressed up now and then. I am glad I have a group of girlfriends giving me all the advices I need. Other than the wedding prep, I have been meeting my friends for dinners and drinks. Just lately, I met up with my sec sch friends for dinner at Sushi Tei. It’s a pity one of them got held up at work but she is so gonna make up for it on our next dinner gathering.

Dinner with Debbie, Adeline, my sister Jace and I ๐Ÿ™‚

With the additional member in my family, I have been trying to come home straight after work so that I have time with Tobi, the playful dog. The whole family loves him! And he really got his ways of trying to catch our attention. Just brought him for grooming and below are some really cute photos of him to share with all of you ๐Ÿ™‚

Dinners with the Girlies

Met up with the Les Berries last night for dinner to celebrate Jessieberry’s birthday. Since none of us ever get tired of having Japanese food, we decided to have our dinner at Sushi Tei. The last time I met the Les Berries was the Phuket trip. Want to how long sial. Jessieberry even reminded that I was supposed to post up the video taken for the little surprise they gave me which I really forgot all about it. Eh, I will try to post it up soon de and hope I will remember :p Anyway, I always enjoy hanging out with the Les Berries because I think only they can tahan my tak glam moments which they have seen so much of it during the Phuket trip. So embarrassing~ *In Auntie Lucy’s famous pose*

I would like to wish Jessieberry a berry happy birthday. May she stay happy and pretty always. And of course may a GOOD man drop from the sky ALIVE (Jerks can die) as what she wish for ๐Ÿ˜€ Hope you have a great celebration with your family.

We all just love japanese food~ Yummy!

The Les Berries~

For the longest time, Cindy, Vicki and I had been wanting to meet up for dinner and finally we managed to find time last week. Since 3 of us love Japanese food, we decided to have dinner at Sushi Tei. We talked about things we have never shared before when we were all out together with our other half. We realised actually we have so much in common ๐Ÿ™‚ Will definitely arrange more girly meet-ups with them!

The food we ordered.

After dinner, we went to have some super nice bubble tea (Sweet treat from Vicki. Thanks babe!) and continued our girly chats.

My Birthday With The Les Berries

It’s an outdated post again but it’s better to be late than never even when it comes to blogging :p Anyway, the Les Berries gang had an early birthday celebration for me 2 weeks ago at Fou de Fafa (it means โ€œjust to be crazyโ€ in French) which was located at Capital Tower. We had a really healthy dinner that night as this place served the healthiest selection of food. We even ordered their detox tea instead of sugary drinks.

The yummy and healthy food we ordered.

After eating, suddenly the 2 staff started hitting the tambourine and singing the birthday song. Erm, quite loud somemore until all of us (Yes, including the 2 mastermind who arranged this surprise) got a shock. Haha.. Want to how funny. But nevertheless, I appreciate their thoughts and efforts ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Birthday to me! ๐Ÿ˜€

Linda bought me a birthday gift. I opened the pressie and when I looked inside, I zitao burst out laughing. For a moment I thought how come she bought me a clothes hanger. But I was mistaken because it’s not a normal “diao sar” you know~ (clothes hanger in Hokkien). It’s an accessories hanger!

We later adjourned to somewhere nearby for coffee.

Both Jessica and I ordered strawberry smoothie while Linda and Jace ordered Latte.

PS:Will update my birthday celebration with my evil BFFs soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

Keisuke Tokyo @ Parco Marina Bay

Met up with the Les Berries gang for dinner last week. (There’s a long story behind this term/naming and I am too lazy to elaborate on that. Well, we have been meeting up pretty often and we thought it’s easier to have a group name to call ourselves :p )

As usual, Jessica always have new places for us to go. This time round, she suggested having Ebi Ramen aka atas prawn noodle at Keisuke Tokyo located at the newly opened Parco Marina Bay. You won’t see any prawn in this prawn soup-based ramen like our normal prawn noodles. It’s all in the broth. Simple and fresh. Worth a try! Needless to say, it’s great food with great company ๐Ÿ˜€

Batam Getaway With BFFs!

Hey peeps, how’s your weekend? I had a great weekend getaway with my 2 BFFs and sister. Want to how shiok! We ate, laughed, went for hair treatment, massage and shopping at the hypermart. Great fun with great people you know~ The photos taken during the getaway are all with my BFF Elaine so shall wait for her to post up in her blog. As we have so much fun, we are planning for the next getaway already. Happy dao~~

PS: On a sadder note, I went to the wake of one of my friend’s beloved family member who has passed away last week. It’s really a very heartbreaking and devastating period for the family. I wished for them to be strong and may the lovely memories of their beloved one stay in their hearts forever.

BFF’s Little Prince Called Kayden

Let’s welcome my BFF’s little bundle of joy – Baby Kayden! We are officially the godmas to this little one. The moment we got the news that BFF has given birth, the 3 of us were really excited to meet our godson. Not sure if Kayden is looking forward to meet the 3 evil BFFs of his mummy though :p But for sure he have heard alot of our voices and laughter while he’s still in his mummy’s tummy ๐Ÿ˜€ Congrats once again on your new bundle of joy, BFF!

PS – And the FP girlies are now counting down to the arrival of Magmag’s baby boy! ๐Ÿ˜€

Dinner With My Fav Girlies

Last Friday met up with my favourite girlies for dinner. Our beloved Autumnleaf came back to S’pore for holidays. It’s also a great time to meet because it’s long weekend. We had dinner at Wheelock Place Sakae Sushi before we adjourned to Big O Cafe for desserts and more girlie talks. Totally enjoyed that night with them. Come to think of it, I have known most of them for coming to 7 or 8 years. As we grow older, we are also kept busy with work and families. I really appreciate that most of them can try to find time to meet up once in a while. And that’s how our bonds gets stronger as the years go by. Of course I would love to continue this friendship of ours till all of us turn old ๐Ÿ™‚
